- We connect to Hosthub through its Open API. You create an API key in your Hosthub settings, and give it to us.
- We read your rentals, calendar events, bookings and rates from Hosthub.
- Hosthub says its API does not push updates to other apps, so a website has to ask for the latest. That is why we check availability with Hosthub when a guest books, in under half a second.

Questions about Hosthub
Do I have to leave Hosthub?
No. You keep Hosthub for your calendar and prices. Your new site sits on top of it, and your guests book on your site.
Do I pay extra for Hosthub's API?
Hosthub says its Open API is included in your subscription at no extra cost. If you do not see an API Keys section in your Hosthub settings, Hosthub says to contact its support team to have it turned on.
Can two guests book the same dates?
Before a booking is taken, we check availability with Hosthub through its API. No system can promise that nothing ever goes wrong, so ask us what is realistic for your setup.
Does Hosthub connect to websites another way?
Hosthub says other booking engines can connect with a calendar link (iCal), which carries availability only. We connect through the Open API instead.
