Take card payments on your own booking site with Stripe
Stripe is connected to the direct booking site we build for you. Guests pay by card on your site.
How payments work
- Stripe is connected to your booking site, so a guest pays on your site, not on a booking site.
- It is connected to your own Stripe account, so the money goes to you.
- Stripe charges its own fee on each card payment, and you pay Stripe directly for its fees.
What stays the same
- Your booking site's prices and rules stay as you set them.
- A guest still books the dates your calendar shows as free.
What you get
- Card payments on your own site, at about 2.9% plus 30 cents for a US card.
- About 1.5% more for an international card, and about 1% more when the currency is converted.
- Against a booking site's fee of about 15.5% on Airbnb for most hosts.
Who this is not for. If almost all your guests pay by bank transfer or cash and you never want card payments, this will not help you.

- We build your site and connect Stripe to it. It is ready in 7 working days, or it is free.
- Pay the other half only when you go live.
Questions about Stripe
How much does Stripe charge?
Stripe says its standard price for a US card is 2.9% plus 30 cents. International cards cost about 1.5% more, and converting currency costs about 1% more. Check Stripe's own pricing page, because it can change.
What if a guest disputes a payment?
Stripe charges a fee for each dispute, and you can send evidence to fight it. See [how to protect yourself from chargebacks](/blog/vacation-rental-chargebacks).
Whose Stripe account is it?
Yours. Stripe is connected to your own Stripe account, so card payments go to you. We set it up with you, and you can ask us anything about it on a call.
Ask us what is possible
We can look at how you use Stripe and tell you honestly what your site can do with it. We do not promise results, because nobody honest can.
